Question: Please tell me the Gossip Girl producers are going to give Jessica Szohr something to do in these final five episodes. The girl has been a glorified extra all season. —Deb
Ausiello: Glorified extra is a bit of an exaggeration. Can we compromise and call her an Under-Fiver With Benefits? But per exec producer Stephanie Savage, Szohr’s increasingly isolated alter ego is about to get sprung from the backburner. “Vanessa’s very much a part of the rest of the season,” says the boss. “She will make a bold move by the end of the season [that] could put her back in their good graces… or it could put her out of their good graces forever.”

What can we expect for Nate (Chace Crawford) and Vanessa’s (Jessica Szohr) characters in this last batch of episodes?
JS: Nate continues his relationship with Raina (Tika Sumpter), and he’s very much folded into that story. And Vanessa tries to get back in the good graces of everybody, and we’ll see she’ll end of trying larger and larger things until there is one very very big thing that will happen that changes things.

Jess talks about the Dove Campaign and answers a few fan questions.

How did you get involved with Dove and the go sleeveless campaign?
I’m working with them right now to help promote their go sleeveless Deodorant! Dove did a study on women and found that tons of them are shy about exposing their underarms, and it affects what women can wear. Fashion is a big part of my life and I wanted to let women know there’s a product out there that can help improve their underarm appearance in just five days. Now we’re kicking off the fashion challenge; you go online and design your own sleeveless top, and the winning design gets to come to New York City on a fashion trip! They receive $5,000 for a shopping spree and get to go shopping with me!

@rachg4 asks: What products do you use on your hair?
I do a lot of dry shampoo. My hair just works better when it’s not as clean! I use a lot of dry shampoo so that my hair always smells good. I like Kerastase products—I use their shampoo and conditioner.

@evalita asks: How would you describe your personal style? What’s your favorite article of clothing?
My personal style is kind of tomboy-boho chic! Sort of funky but simple. I wear very inexpensive things from a vintage shop and I’ll mix in a Marc Jacobs bag. I don’t like it when you look too styled and wear one designer from head to toe. I like to mix designer things with a boys white v-neck from Target, for example. So I guess my style is a mix of boho-chic/high fashion/thrift! I have a Proenza jacket I love—the detailing is really cool and it’s not too heavy, so it’s really versatile. I have a gold watch by Zadig & Voltaire and it’s kind of a staple as well. I also have a pair of Chris Benz shoes that I got recently and have been wearing a lot—black platforms with a really cool design. Those are my three staple things right now. They’re all accessories because I kind of feel like if you have a great pair of jeans and a top that makes you feel good, that’s all you need clothes-wise. Accessories make it better!

@AthayaMe asks: How do you stay in shape? What kinds of exercises do you like to do?
I do a lot of yoga! We’re off of the show right now for a few months, so I’m in LA and I like to hike when I’m there. I’ve been doing Tracy Anderson’s workout too, which is great. And also my uncle, Brian Szohr, is a fitness trainer in Wisconsin, so he trains me when he has time!
